Steven Trager, MBA
Founder & CEO, MVP Hospitality Group
Steven Trager brings more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience across multi-unit restaurants, luxury resorts, casinos, private clubs, and executive service environments. His career began at age 16 working at LongHorn Steakhouse, where he quickly advanced to managing the host team and discovered a passion for hospitality, leadership, and guest experience that would shape his professional path.
He continued his education at Georgia State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality, followed by an MBA in Hospitality Management and Operations from Westwood College – Denver. From the beginning of his career, Steven focused on combining operational discipline, financial performance, and elevated service standards.
Steven officially launched his professional career at Andrews Entertainment District in Atlanta, where he progressed from manager to Director of Nightlife & Hospitality Operations, overseeing high-volume venues, large teams, and complex guest environments. This experience laid the foundation for a career leading large-scale hospitality operations across the United States.
Over the next two decades, Steven held senior leadership roles with nationally recognized restaurant groups, hotel and casino properties, and multi-state hospitality portfolios, including Turning Stone Enterprises, Ray’s Restaurant Group, Red Pebbles Hospitality, and regional strategy leadership with The Dairy Alliance supporting Fortune 500 partners and 500+ unit platforms.
His work has included multi-unit operations leadership, restaurant openings, enterprise hospitality consulting, performance improvement, staff development, vendor and cost management, and guest experience transformation. Known for building strong teams and scalable systems, Steven has helped organizations improve operational performance, increase guest satisfaction scores from 3.2 to 4.9 stars in under 90 days, and successfully guide brands through growth, turnaround, and expansion.
